CCVS – Cambridge Council for Voluntary Services

CCVS was set up to support local community and voluntary groups. They offer free training for trustees, treasurers etc, give advice on finding grants, have a grant navigation website and help with applications. Their annual membership fee is £30.

Forum of Heritage Language Coalitions in Europe

FOHLC Europe is an exciting new collaboration between several organizations involved with heritage language education in Europe. We are initiating an annual conference that we hope will become a new tradition of creating connections. It will be a chance for all involved in this area to come together  to share expertise and to discuss the needs of our organizations.

National Consortium for Languages Education (NCLE)

NCLE is led by IOE/UCL and works with key stakeholders across the Languages subject community, including the Goethe-Institut and the British Council. NCLE is a nationwide hubs programme funded by the DfE up to £14.9 million over three years from 2023 to re-energise language learning in state-maintained primary and secondary schools in England. 


NCVO champions the voluntary sector and volunteering because they’re essential for a better society. They do this by connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations. The NCVO does sector-wide national work.
